After a breathtaking scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, touch-down in Xhoo for a 3 hour hosted experience. Xhoo is a small rural village near Maun which borders a wildlife concession in the Okavango Delta. The community has no access to reliable sources of income and few job opportunities, with their lifestyle being predominantly subsistence based. The community is excited to share their lifestyle and history with visitors and in turn learn about other cultures and ways of life.

This project is run by Mmila Mela – a registered Non- Profit Organisation – which has been working with Xhoo since 2021 to help develop community support structures and income generating activities. 25% of your payment is donated to Mmila Mela – 50% of your which goes towards supporting the operational costs of our development initiatives such as the Xhoo playgroup and feeding program for children under five. The remaining 50% goes directly to the community as livelihood support.
