We fly seven days a week, usually starting operations from 7:00am and finish at 19:00 (in summer) and 17:00(in winter). We can schedule flight times to suit your lodge / camp itinerary.
We request that passenger’s book as far in advance as possible as we cannot guarantee availability for last-minute bookings. If you are visiting the Okavango, we suggest that you book your flight early in your stay.
If the weather is inclement on the day of your flight, the flight will be re-scheduled at a time that is mutually convenient. Please note that it’s the Pilot’s call on the weather.

It’s always a good time to fly, whether you choose to fly in the morning, afternoon or early evening (in summer). We recommend one of our 30-minute scenic flights as the minimum time so that passengers get to see the full panorama of our vast wilderness.
Yes! We encourage you to take as many photographs as possible. We would recommend any “point & shoot” camera, or any 35mm SLR camera with a lens between 28mm and 70mm or up to 200mm. If you do not have a camera, a cellphone does a great job at capturing the experience.

Helicopter Horizons guarantees window seats for up to 5 passengers, depending on the aircraft. Doors can be removed for scenic flights to offer unobstructed views. All flights are private, it’s you and your pilot!
