Expensive but terrific experience! Absolutely worth all the money, it's by far the best way to see the delta. From above you see all sort of animals and colors variations in the water/land contrasts. The ride is surprisingly smooth, a totally different experience than the bumpy microlights yet much more exciting than a fixed-wing airplane. They also send a video of your flight for free after a couple of days. Don't miss it!

Bucket list trip par excellence! We’ve been travelling around Botswana for the last 10 days and as a final expedition, we took a flight over the Delta with Fondi at the controls. To say the flight exceeded our expectations doesn’t even start to describe the experience! It was a safari tour on speed without the lumps and bumps of the 4WD jeep used for the rest of our journey. Fondi was an excellent guide to the wildlife and the R44 a perfect platform for the journey. It’s not inexpensive but worth every penny.

Better than your best dream ! WOW!! We went with Daniel as our pilot in a 4 seater helicopter. There were no doors on the helicopter, which made the experience so much more exciting!
There are no words to describe the feeling of flying over the animals and the delta.
The entire experience from booking to our pilot was professional and friendly.
I would recommend this tour 100 times over!!

semplicemente spettacolare E' stata la prima cosa che abbiamo fatto in Botswana: siamo atterrati a Maun alle 13,30 dopo un giorno di viaggio dall'Italia e alle 15,30 abbiamo goduto di 45 minuti che difficilmente dimenticheremo nella nostra vita!
Elicottero minuscolo ma sicurissimo: posto per un passeggero accanto al pilota e due passeggeri dietro, vetro solo nella parte anteriore poi lati completamente aperti, quindi quando ci si siede con la cintura di sicurezza e si guarda lateralmente si vede solo il vuoto e volendo un piede che penzola fuori! Obbligatorie le cuffie per evitare il rumore e poter parlare sia con il pilota che con gli altri passeggeri. C'è tanta aria, i due passeggeri che stanno dietro stanno meglio se hanno una felpa.
Il volo è stato una emozione dal primo all'ultimo secondo. La parte finale del delta dell'Okavango è subito lì, appena ci si alza sopra l'aeroporto di Maun inizia lo spettacolo: tanta acqua, isolotti, verde di tutte le sfumature e soprattutto frotte di animali di ogni tipo che possono essere ammirati dall'alto ma anche da molto vicino. L'elicottero si alza, si abbassa, fa voli radenti a pelo d'acqua e se i passeggeri vogliono il pilota ti fa provare anche l'ebbrezza delle montagne russe.
Bellissimo vedere nuotare e sbadigliare gli ippopotami, gli elefanti attraversare i vari corsi d'acqua e i coccodrilli crogiolarsi al sole o nuotare a pelo d'acqua.
Iniziare in questo modo la vacanza ci ha fatto capire che avremmo trascorso due settimane indimenticabili: esperienza che vale ogni centesimo (molti) pagato!
