The day begins with a short helicopter transfer directly from Maun Airport to your safari vehicle where you will be met by your safari guide to begin your morning game drive. Operated in a wildlife rich and private area of the Okavango Delta, you will have the opportunity to view incredible game from your open top safari vehicle. A picnic lunch is organised at the end of your game drive. After lunch you will be met by one of our helicopters before lifting to experience a 40 minute doors off scenic flight. Instantly after lifting the helicopter will offer a completely different perspective opening up the vastness of the Okavango Delta. The floodplains support a variety of wildlife all on offer with entirely unrestricted views. Headsets are provided for constant commentary from your passionate pilot throughout the scenic flight.

Next stop is meeting your boat guide on the banks of the Boro River, moments after departing you will be cruising along the unspoiled waterways across the famous buffalo fence where the Okavango Delta begins. Your guide will be sharing first-hand knowledge of the area’s wildlife whilst enjoying possible sightings from the banks. Your boat journey will continue down to the Thamalakane River and back to Maun where you will be met by our shuttle and transferred back to your accommodation.  This experience offers wildlife sightings and delta landscapes from the air, boat and land all in one activity-packed day.
