Amazing experience with Helicopter Horizons! I had the pleasure of doing a helicopter safari with Helicopter Horizons on my most recent trip to Botswana, and it was absolutely the highlight of the trip! 10/10. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an incredible experience!

Awesome View of the Okavango Delta After 7 days of getting an "African Massage" and thoroughly enjoying all the wildlife, my wife and I looked forward to the helicopter flight included in our travel arrangements and a different perspective of the Okavango Delta. We were not disappointed! Hippos, elephants, crocodiles were everywhere along the winding Khwai River and its endless marshes. From above, it seems the Delta goes on forever, Great views! What an awesome experience our Pilot Brendon provided for us. Professional and super courteous he narrated so nicely what was going on below. Make sure the doors are off! Amazing service from Horizon Helicopters raised the bar, and delivered memories to last a lifetime. Helicopter Horizons is the first helicopter tour my wife and son had been on, and from start to finish, this company exceeded our expectations and raised the bar (see note below on why they raised the bar!).
We initially booked a 45-minute flight from Maun airport at 3 pm, but then discovered from our safari director that it would not be possible because we were due to go to Moremi that day and the gates closed at 6:30 pm. Horizon was very quick to respond to my query about changing the flight, and we switched our flight to Khwai Airstrip and opted for 30 minutes.
On the day, the helicopter flew into Khwai on the dot, and a very helpful pilot (sorry, I can’t remember his name 🙁 ) provided an excellent experience. The Okavango Delta is a pretty magical place, but Horizon literally provided an otherworldly perspective—something we will never forget for the rest of our lives.
So, why did Horizon raise the bar? As part of our visit to Southern Africa, we also booked a helicopter flight in Zimbabwe to see Victoria Falls. That company’s flight on the day was shorter than advertised, and we just kept comparing it to the amazing service from Horizon! Horizon’s helicopter duration was exactly as advertised and a bit more. Now that’s exceeding your customer’s expectations! Horizon raised the bar—well done and thank you!
